XAN GILMOUR - DIRECTOR
Iām a writer-director of short films, documentaries and music videos. In narrative, my aim is to create otherworldly visions across a range of genres. My awards include Best Short at the White Deer Film Festival for EVA REVISITED, a psychological thriller, and Best Film at Feel the Reel Film Festival for IMBAS, a mythic fantasy. Previously, I was the director's assistant to Kristin Scott Thomas and a documentary filmmaker in Barcelona, London, Lesvos and Kilifi, focusing on refugee integration and environmental restoration.
SAMANTHA MOODY - WRITER
A BAFTA Rocliffe-winning screenwriter, I fell in love with screenwriting while working in cutscene development for indie horror games. I am a Stowe Story Labs Fellow, an Austin Film Festival Pitch Finalist, and have placed in a number of prestigious screenwriting competitions. My work has been performed for the No Sleep Podcast, HappenedHere and, in collaboration with my sister, I write and perform for Wyrd Folk; a duelling folklore podcast. I draw on my oddball life to inspire stories of comedy and horror that focus on badly behaved women who challenge societal norms while exploring power dynamics.
JONATHAN NICOL - DOP
I have been working as a cinematographer for the past 14 years. After a number of years working on commercial and music projects of increasing scale, I branched into narrative fiction, looking for projects that intrigue and excite me; in that time I have shot 4 feature films, 25 short films and three series pilots. The projects have been increasing in scope and budget and I've kept up with my usual commercial work alongside. I treat each project individually, never liking to push the same style. Instead, I look to adapt and work with a director to capture their vision for the project in a collaborative and distinct way.
